Maine Partners in Emergency Preparedness Conference: Final Schedule Published

Registrations are being accepted for the First Annual Maine Partners in Preparedness Conference, to be held April 30 and May 1, 2009 at the Augusta Civic Center.

Keynote Speaker: James Lee Witt
James Lee Witt is the Chief Executive Officer of the crisis management and preparedness services consulting firm James Lee Witt Associates, a part of GlobalOptions Group. Mr. Witt served as FEMA Director from 1993 to 2001.

Exhibitor registrations will be accepted up to April 29. Exhibitor registrations being mailed should be timed to be received by April 29 (before the conference).

About the event
The conference workshops have been organized into special interest "tracks".

The Conference is a partnership among the State Emergency Response Commission, MEMA, and the Maine Association of Local Emergency Managers. It will combine the offerings of the annual Hazardous Materials Conference, with a wide range of workshops and information sessions to benefit First Responders, Government Officials, Emergency Managers, Business Leaders, School Administrators, Health and Human Service Providers, and Voluntary Agencies.
