Waldo and Knox Counties Conduct Joint Exercise

August 28, 2012

The Waldo and Knox County Emergency Management Agencies will conduct a tabletop exercise which will center around the response capabilities of On-Scene Command and Control, Communications, Emergency Triage and Search and Rescue operations on the coastal waters of Penobscot Bay. It will involve Local, State and Federal partners in a discussion-based scenario based on an air crash in Penobscot Bay.

The goal of this tabletop exercise will be to clarify the roles and responsibilities of the responding agencies and to coordinate the activities between all those involved.
