2007 PSIC Awards Announced

The Maine Emergency Management Agency has announced $3.4 million in awards to Maine Counties and Towns for interoperable communications.

The awards were made after grant applications were reviewed by a multi-jurisdiction and multi-disciplinary committee. The Committee's recommendations then had to be validated by the Department of Homeland Security before awards could be made. The awards are consistent with strategies and priorities identified in the State Communications Interoperability Plan (SCIP) in .doc format
