Training Announcement: Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings

Maine Emergency Management Agency will sponsor two sessions of a 4-hour training course, Anti-Terrorism Training for First Responders: Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings on Wednesday, March 14th in Augusta.
The course will be presented by the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center/New Mexico Tech, and the lead DHS National Domestic Preparedness Consortium partner for explosives and firearms, live explosives, and incendiary devices training.
Two separate sessions will be held on March 14th, in the Florian Hall Training Room, 45 Commerce Drive, Augusta. (Only one 4-hour course is needed for certification).
Description of Training:
The course provides technical operations and awareness training for firefighters, law enforcement, and other personnel who have a significant responsibility for providing a response to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) incidents involving explosives or incendiary materials.
Classroom topics include:
