Learn how school computer networks and systems are vulnerable to cyber threats and how to prepare for and manage them. As remote and hybrid instruction increase, and technology systems become more integrated, school leaders must be aware of cybersecurity risks and the strategies that enhance cybersecurity planning. This training covers how to develop a cyber incident response plan and how it can be integrated into school emergency operations plans (EOPs) via a Cyber Annex. By the end of the training, participants will be equipped to enact K-12 Cybersecurity Risk Management within the five defined mission areas (Prevention, Protection, Mitigation, Response, and Recovery) before, during, and after an incident.
