Note: Per MaineDOT Sprecification, use of fiber reinforcement is only allowed for drainage structures with a maximum inside diameter of 4'.

This list represents material(s) designed/tested and approved as a replacement for

6" x 6", #10 gauge welded wire fabric when used at the prescribed dosage rates for the construction of manhole and catch basin structures as allowed under Maine DOT Standad Specification, 712.06 Precast Concrete Units. These fibers are NOT meant to be a replacment for any requiered reinforcing steel (rebar). The minimum dosage rate is 5.0 pounds per cubic yard of concrete.

PLEASE NOTE: Products often times may have multiple uses. Products appearing on this particular list are expressly pre-qualified for this category of usage only. Do not use these products for any other application unless this product is noted on other lists.

Sales Representatives seeking approval of a new product should submit their product's Materials Technical Data Sheet, Instructions for Installation, Material Safety Data Sheet, and a completed copy of the MaineDOT Preliminary Information for Product Evaluation Form.
