Research Program Overview
Product
Evaluation and Prequalification
This
program provides a central process for all new product submittals.
The program functions as a clearinghouse and oversees a process
to evaluate, review, and prequalify new products for
use on MaineDOT projects. Three committees (Bridge and Concrete,
Highway, Safety,and Traffic, and Environmental) take
the lead on new product evaluations and Qualified Products Lists (QPL).
The program also coordinates the development of Standard Specifications
for major groups of products. Click
