Welcome to the Maine
Traveler Newsletter. The Maine Traveler is a monthly newsletter
of the Maine Department of Transportation and is distributed to
members of the Maine Legislature, Regional Transportation Advisory
Committee, Corridor Committees, all Municipalities in Maine, as
well as other organizations and individuals interested in Department
activities.
These newsletters
are meant to highlight some of MaineDOT's accomplishments. They
are distributed to Department employees to recognize what
we have accomplished together, with appreciation for the excellent
efforts Department employees have made to maintain and strengthen
Maine's transportation system. The December issue highlights accomplishments
that were made during 2001. The 2002 newsletters are released to
inform MaineDOT employees and the public of the challenges, opportunities,
and projects that lie ahead for the Maine Department of Transportation.
