What is Coastal Trans?

CTI is a private, non-profit corporation providing public transportation to Knox, Lincoln , and Sagadahoc Counties , as well as the towns of Brunswick and Harpswell in Cumberland County .

Where Will Coastal Trans Take Me?

Coastal Trans operates 18 vans (13 wheelchair accessible) and has a group of volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles to provide transportation. 

Who Can Use Coastal Trans?

Anyone living in our service area can use Coastal Trans.  It is not just for the elderly or for low income people.

How Do I Schedule a Ride?

For local rides, please call the closet Coastal Trans office before 2:00 PM the day before you want to ride.  We have daily service int he Bath-Brunswick area, the Rockland area and the Damariscotta area.  For longer out of the town rides, please check with the office.  Coastal Trans does not operate like a taxi service.  We need time to schedule your ride and we need to work together to schedule it at a time that works for both of us.

What does it Cost to Ride on Coastal Trans?

Our general public fares are very reasonable.  In-town Bath, Brunswick or Rockland, we charge $1.50 each way.
