General Information about the Matinicus Island Ferry

The schedule is subject to change without notice. Travelers are advised to contact the Rockland terminal office the day before the scheduled trip to confirm the trip is departing as scheduled.
Passengers/Vehicles must be in line and ready to board at least 30 minutes prior to loading time.
Please have all necessary paperwork needed for compliance with the Matinicus Vehicle Waste Ordinance completed before arriving, otherwise passage may be denied.
Reservations to Matinicus may be made up to 3 months in advance. The full non-refundable fare must be paid within 7 days of the request or your reservation may be canceled without notice if space for other vehicles is required.
