Please Note: This workshop is required for those towns participating in the "Warning and Regulatory Sign Package"

• Road Crew Foremen

• Public Works Directors

• Selectmen

• Town/City Managers

• Enforcement Personnel

    This program is directed at municipal officials and employees and/or contractors who are responsible for maintaining roads in Maine.

If you are working on becoming a Maine "Roads Scholar"
this is one of the required courses.

• How speed limits are set

• Sign types & designs for local roads

• Center lines and other pavement markings

• Options for cross walks & school markings

• Traffic signals

• Bicycle facilities
