Chainsaw Safety Training – Its Free

 

Mike St. Peter Safety Services offers cutting edge safety and operations training for chainsaw users. If you are involved in chainsaw use full or part time as part of your occupation, Mike St. Peter Safety Services are there to help. They will tailor their presentation and training for your needs. Some of the topics to be reviewed in this one day workshop are:

• Personal Protective Equipment
• Chainsaw Safety Features and Maintenance Procedures
• Chainsaw Operation
• Ergonomics – Body Positioning
• Precision Directional Felling
• Hazards
• Limbing and Bucking

This is a continuing workshop and can be scheduled at the convenience of your town directly through Mike St. Peter Safety Services or the Maine Local Roads Center. All you need is a municipality to host the workshop, 12 to 15 people either from your town or neighboring towns to participate and you’ve got yourself a workshop.
