Description
of State Maintenance Boundary Lines established for
delimiting the urban area of
Lewiston,
Androscoggin County, Maine
Lewiston
Beginning
at the Lewiston-Auburn-Greene town line; thence, southeasterly via
the Lewiston-Greene town line to the Lewiston-Sabattus town line;
thence, southerly via said town line to the Lewiston-Lisbon town
line; thence, continuing southerly via said town line to Route 196;
thence, northwesterly to the junction of River Road (Inventory Road
#336) and Cottage Road #2 (Inventory Road #546); thence, due west
to the Androscoggin River (Lewiston-Auburn town line); thence, northerly
via said river and town line to the Lewiston-Auburn-Greene town
line, the point of beginning.
Note:
Bridges, in any, bisected by the State Maintenance Line are in the
rural area.
