delimiting the urban area of
Farmington,
Franklin County, Maine
Farmington
Beginning
where Route #4 (F.A.P. #32) crosses Sandy River; thence, easterly
via Route # 4 northerly right-of-way to the junction of Anson and
North Streets: thence, easterly to Perham Street (State Route #43)
at a culvert 0.08 mile south of a power transmission line; thence,
easterly through Middle Street at the north entrance of Farmington
High School to Cascade Brook; thence, southerly to Maple Avenue
at the entrance to Louis Fitch's Lumber Yard 0.35 mile from Sunset
Avenue; thence, southerly to the northerly right-of-way of U.S.
Route 2 (at Cascade Brook); thence, easterly via said right-of-way
0.88 mile to utility pole #77; thence, westerly via south right-of-way
of U.S. #2 to Cascade Brook;
Thence,
southwesterly crossing Sandy River to U.S. # 2 at its junction with
Inventory Road $463; thence, southeasterly to the junction of Knowlton's
corner Road (Inventory Road #460) and Webster Road (Inventory Road
#459); thence, southwesterly to the junction of U.S. #2 and Route
#133 (S.A. #9); thence, northerly via west right-of-way to Temple
Stream; thence, northwesterly via said Stream and a tributary thereof
through Mill Street (State Route #43) to North Street; thence, northerly
through Winter Street at an unnamed drive 0.17 mile from North Street
to the Sandy River; Thence, northerly via the Sandy River to S.R.
#4 (F.A.P. #32), the point of beginning.

#2 (F.A.P. #25) and State Route 41 (F.A.S. #289); thence, southeasterly
via the south right-of-way boundary of State Route 41 to the Farmington-Chesterville
town line; thence, easterly to the junction of Inventory
Road #2049 (N.F. 762) and U.S.
#2 (F.A.P. #25); thence, westerly via
the north right-of-way of Inventory Road #2049 and State Route 41
to U.S. #2 (F.A.P. #25), point of beginning.
NOTE:
Bridges, if any, bisected by the State Maintenance lines are in
the rural area.
