Weekend Paving Will Restrict Warren Avenue to One-Way traffic

This weekend, Warren Avenue in Portland will be reduced to one lane of traffic in order for crews to pave the road.

Beginning Saturday morning, August 8 at 6:00, traffic will reduced to one-way traveling easterly on Warren Avenue, from Riverside Street towards Forest Avenue. Westbound traffic will utilize a detour down Forest Avenue to Riverside Street. Two-way traffic will resume at 7 p.m. Saturday.

On Sunday morning, Warren Avenue will once be limited to one-way traffic, and this will continue thorugh the day and night until 6:00 a.m. on Monday. If crews do not complete paving over the weekend, they will resume the one-way traffic pattern and continue to pave Monday night into Tuesday morning.

All businesses on Warren Avenue remain open and accessible during the construction. Motorists are asked to drive cautiously through the work zone.
