Roadwork continues on Warren Avenue in Portland

Roadwork will continue on Warren Avenue in Portland tonight and will continue into Tuesday as constructions crews will be removing pavement starting at 6:00 tonight, Sunday, August 2.

Crews will be removing pavement on Warren Avenue on a section of road that begins just east of the Maine Turnpike and continues to Hicks Street in Portland. Pavement removal is expected to be complete by Tuesday morning.

Crews will be removing pavement at night. During daytime hours, crews will be preparing the gravel surface for paving.

All businesses on Warren Avenue remain open and accessible during the construction. Motorists are asked to drive cautiously through the work zone.
