Route 35 near Lewis Road in Naples to close for one day for culvert repairs

A section of Route 35 in Naples will be closed for the day on Tuesday, August 11 so MaineDOT crews can remove and replace a deteriorating culvert.

Route 35 will be closed just south of the Lewis Road where the culvert is located. This section is a little more than half a mile north of the intersection of Route 35 and the ey Road.

Cars will utilize a detour that includes the Wiley Road, Flagg Mill road, Edes Falls Road and the Fogg Road. Trucks will be directed to a detour that goes around Long Lake and includes Route 302 and Route 117.

The road is expected to re-open early in the evening.
