MAINEDOT TO REPAIR ANDROSCOGGIN RIVER BRIDGE
IN LIVERMORE FALLS/LIVERMORE
Starting Monday, July 7, MaineDOT will begin repairs on the Route 4 Androscoggin Bridge in Livermore and Livermore Falls.
Crews will be repairing the bridge deck as well as the wearing surface that is placed over the deck. The current wearing surface has deteriorated, and replacing the wearing surface will extend the life of the structure.
The project is expected to last 12 weeks, and during the construction, traffic on the bridge will be limited to a single lane, with alternating one way traffic regulated by temporary traffic signal lights.
