Night Paving on Hogan Road Ready to Begin Monday, July 27
Starting on Monday night, July 27, crews will begin repaving a section of the Hogan Road in Bangor.
Night paving is planned for this .75 mile section of Hogan Road that starts just south of Mt. Hope Avenue and extends north to nearly .2 miles north of the Sylvan Road. Crews will be working nights from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday night through Friday, and on Sunday nights, crews will begin at 5:30 p.m.
All construction work associated with this project will be done at night. Motorists should expect possible traffic delays at night, but the road will not be closed, as there will be one-way, alternating traffic regulated by flaggers.
Vaughn Thibodeau and Sons of Bangor is the contractor for the $510,000 project. If the repaving project proceeds as planned, construction is expected to be completed by the middle of October.
