MaineDOT set to repair two bridges in Fryeburg
MaineDOT announced today that crews will be conducting repairs on two bridges located on Route 302 in Fryeburg starting July 7.
Crews will be removing pavement, repairing the concrete surface, repairing expansion joints, installing curbing and then repaving the bridge deck on both bridges. Walkers Bridge spans the Saco River and is located four miles west of the Bridgton town line. Osgood Bridge is located 4.2 miles east of Route 5 on Route 302 and crosses Dead Lake Stream. Repairs are scheduled to finish by late August.
CPM Constructors of Freeport will conduct the repairs to the bridges. Crews will work simultaneously on both bridges.
During the construction period, there will be alternating one-way traffic regulated by temporary signal lights. There is a reduced speed limit in the work zone, and drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
