Crews to Start Construction in Dover-Foxcroft

Starting on Monday, April 20, construction crews will begin work on repaving a section of Routes 6, 15 and 16 in the town of Dover-Foxcroft.

Motorists should expect delays as traffic will be limited to one alternating lane. Crews will be removing pavement and replacing part of the base underneath the road. Drainage Improvements will also be made alongside the road before it is repaved later this year. Construction starts downtown at the intersection of Routes 153 and 6, and continues west for .75 miles.

Pike Industries is the contractor for the $3.5 million project. The project is expected to be completed by mid-November. Motorists are reminded to drive safely through the construction zone.
