Lane Closures Friday Night At Cony Roundabout

Motorists driving through the Cony Roundabout this Friday night, May 1, should expect delays as travel lanes within the roundabout and approaches to the roundabout will be reduced to one lane due to road construction.

Starting at approximately 7 p.m. Friday, and continuing to 8 a.m. Saturday, crews will be removing the older pavement surface through a milling process. At some points, equipment may block the entire travel way. There will be police officers at the roundabout to help direct traffic.

On Saturday morning, construction progress will be reviewed and crews will determine whether to complete the job Saturday morning, or shut down and resume Saturday night. As soon as the job is complete, temporary traffic lines will be painted in the roundabout.

Motorists should expect delays traveling through the rotary and should seek alternate routes. Please drive safely through any construction zone.
