Construction To Resume On Cony Circle

Beginning this Monday, April 13, construction activity will resume in the Cony Roundabout on the east side of Memorial Bridge in Augusta. Work is scheduled to continue for the next two months and conclude in mid-June. It is anticipated that construction work next week will include removing the island on Cony Street East close to the roundabout.

Since construction activity will vary from day-to-day, it is difficult to predict traffic impacts. Motorists should allow for extra time and watch “message boards” for updated information. Consider taking alternate routes or altering your schedule to minimize congestion.

MaineDOT asks that you please drive safely and courteously in the work zone and on alternate routes.
