Route 105 in Augusta to close three days for roadwork
Crews from MaineDOT will have to close a section of Route 105 in Augusta for three days starting August 19 in order to replace two deteriorated culverts on Route 105.
The project is expected to last three days, and if there are no unexpected delays, Route 105 will reopen August 22. The two 24” culverts are located 600’ and 1,350’ feet east of the Ward Road in Augusta.
During the construction period, traffic will be detoured onto the Ward Road to the Weeks Mill Road and onto Route 32.
