Acadia Gateway Informational Meeting Is August 5

On Tuesday, August 5, MaineDOT will host a public informational meeting to discuss plans for the Acadia Gateway Center in Trenton. The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Trenton Elementary School on Route 3 in Trenton.

MaineDOT has developed a Preliminary Design Report for Phase 1 of the project. MaineDOT staff will be on hand to present the proposed design for the Downeast Transportation bus maintenance facility, the Route 3 improvements adjacent to the facility as well as the entrance road and other items related to the facility.

A copy of the full report and plans for the project are available for public viewing at the Trenton Town Office, the Ellsworth Public Library and the MaineDOT Region 4 - (Eastern Region) Office located on the Hogan Road in Bangor. The report and plans will also be posted on the project website at www.acadiagatewaycenter.com. Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
