• Beginning at the Post Office in Guilford, Maine, travel along Hudson Avenue toward Pleasant Avenue for 385 feet.
• Continue to travel on Pleasant Avenue for 0.7 miles.
• Turn left onto ME-23 / Main Street and travel for 0.5 miles.
• Turn right onto ME-6 / ME-15 / ME-16 / Water Street, and travel for 2.3 miles.
• Turn right onto Lowes Bridge Road and travel for 185 feet.

This bridge, built in 1857, was washed away by the flood of April 1, 1987. A modern covered bridge, patterned after the original, was built on the original abutments in 1990.

The bridge has a clear span of 120 feet over the Piscataquis River. It is located just off State Route 15 south of Guilford Village.
