Coordination and Permits Division

The
Coordination and Permits Division is responsible for coordinating
all MaineDOT projects within the Environmental Office, as well as determining the need for environmental
permits, cultural reviews, and administering the agreement for Categorical Exclusions (NEPA CE). The Division prepares and coordinates all documents for submittal
to the appropriate agencies for environmental permits and cultural approval. The Coordination and Permits Division facilitates a monthly Interagency Meeting with various State
and Federal regulatory and resource agencies to coordinate
projects.
