Hydrology
Unit
The
Hydrology Unit provides drainage and hydrology expertise to a variety
of MDOT programs. The Unit has updated the Drainage Design chapter
of the Highway Design Manual to incorporate current design practices
and the latest research in Maine hydrology. Unit Staff perform hydrologic
studies for highway and bridge projects and assist in problem-solving
at the Division level. The Unit also offers training to MDOT staff
and consultants in MDOT drainage practice and policies.
