Unit
The
Groundwater Unit of MDOT's Environmental Office is a group of geologists,
engineers and environmental scientists specializing in soil and
groundwater resource assessment, protection, and restoration. Our
focus is to assist all MDOT Bureaus and Offices to minimize impacts
to Maine's groundwater resources. Our Unit includes four program
areas:
- Well Claims
- Preconstruction Monitoring
- Dredge Spoil Management
- Uncontrolled Petroleum and Hazardous Waste
