Below are the draft updates of the 2014 MaineDOT Standard Spec Book.

The edits in this document come from a collection of comments from various support groups within the MaineDOT.

These edits were compared to the 2002 Maine DOT Std Spec Book.

The differences between the 2002 and the 2014 versions are depicted in the following manner:

  • The deletions should show as being red and struck through text - example
  • The additions or new language should show as being blue bold text – example
  • The text shown in magenta reflects the Repair Spec dated 1-25-13 – example

Some of the Repair Spec was incorporated directly into the update and some of the repair spec was reworked through the update process these are reflected by the standard red and blue text criteria mentioned above.

Included in this document are the Repair Spec and Divisions 100-700 of the 2002 Standard Spec merged with updates through September 2013.
