WHAT'S
NEW
Web page Update
The CADD web page has needed a major overhaul for quite some time. We are removing links to support pages for MicroStation J, MicroStation v8.1 and MX v2.6.3. These configurations can still be requested via email on our Contacts page. We are adding links to our configuration for MicroStation and MX 2004 Edition as well as InRoads v8.8! We will attempt to provide more frequent updates in the future.
MaineDOT undergoing many changes!
We have begun our implementation of InRoads design software. MaineDOT will continue to use MX on projects that are in the works, but will begin using InRoads on all new projects. This has prompted many changes in our workflow as well as to the standard design file. Because of the MicroStation design file changes, we need to keep the configuration for older MX projects separate from the new InRoads projects. The links to the left have been combined into these separate headings. A list of changes can be found on the MicroStation General Standards (for InRoads) page.
TIMS Information to be added
We plan to add information concerning the Testing
Information Management System (TIMS) to this site. As a start, see
the PDA Pilot Summary Findings report,
which discusses an examination of PDA technology, including the TinyTIMS
application which has been recently deployed.
MaineDOT Survey Data Collection
To the left, you should see links to our Survey Data Collection Documentation and Downloads. MaineDOT is reviewing available data collection software and will be updating soon. These pages are "under construction" and will be added as soon as the review process is complete.
Links to Standard Details
and Standard Specifications
We have gotten inquiries
from readers of our CADD Support pages about Standard
Details and Standard
Specifications. These are maintained in the Contractor
Info section of Maine DOT's web site. The links in this paragraph
should get you there.
