Town of Saint Albans

Somerset CountySt. Albans is a town in Somerset County, settled 1800 and incorporated on June 14, 1813 from the township T5 R4 NWP.

St. Albans is both the name of the first English Christian martyr and an English town.

At the junction of Maine Routes 23, 43 and 152, the village lies at the southwestern tip of Indian Pond.

The three and one-half mile long Pond, or sometimes called the Lake, is maintained by a dam and provides recreational opportunities for local residents and visitors.
