Georgetown Community Center: Activities/Events

Wanted: Lobster Buoys- Attention all Georgetown Lobstermen:  The GCC Board of Directors wants you! Well, we want your lobster buoys to hang in the rafters of the community center.  We have five.  Where are the rest of you?  Don't you want to hang out at GCC?   Please donate clean painted buoy with your name and your boat's name.  Bill Plummer IV (2837) or Mark Donovan (9206) will pick up and hang all buoys.

Care packages for our local soldiers: Jessica Preble, Mike Ferrell, and Will Mann of Georgetown are currently serving overseas.  GCC would like to put together a care package to send to each of them to let them know we are thinking of them.  Please drop off shampoos, cream rinse, toothpaste, soap, phone cards and other nonfood items.  Drop off your items at community center and the GCC Board of Directors will take care of the rest.

 If your son, daughter, brother, sister, mother or father is overseas, please let us know. We want them all to know that we are thinking of them.

The annual Coastal Clean-Up will be held on Saturday, 12 September.  Please call 371-2255 to register and to get area assignments.  Bags will be available for pick up at the Country Store starting on 9 September.
