There are also State Laws regarding cemeteries. Cemeteries are to be held in the highest regard when people are visiting and treated with respect. Members made regular tours of cemeteries to check for downed trees, broken stones, lawn mowing, and general upkeep. If there are any problems that arise please report them to the town office so that the Board can be apprised of any problems. Stuart Dunoskovic installed a fence and arbor at the Settlers Cemetery and earned his Eagle Scout Honor. Andrew Dunoskovic is working on his Eagle Scout and continuing the project. Many thanks for their work on this project. Thanks to John Faulkner and his crew, the Meadowbrook Cemetery has been expanded and more lots will be available in the future when the cemetery is completed. Thanks to the Historical Society for putting up Veteran's flags, to the Garden Club for Christmas wreaths. Respectfully submitted, Harold Hodgins, Carol Alley, Wendy Giguere, Sandra Cookson |
