At the annual Town Meeting on March 28, 2006 the citizens of Eddington approved moving forward with preliminary plans to expand the municipal office and fire station. Over the summer the Town Manager, Building Committee, and Selectmen worked very hard to pull the project together. In August 2006, a Special Town meeting was held and the citizens of Eddington decided to approve the plans and secure a $950,000 loan. Construction began in October 2006 and was finished in June 2007. Prior to the new municipal office, the municipal office was located in office space behind the fire station. A new addition was added to the building for the municipal office and the previous space was renovated for the fire department.

The municipal office provides many services to the citizens of Eddington. For information regarding these services, check out the F.A. Wood Municipal Office under the Departments link.

The municipal office has a meeting room. This is used for Board & Committee meetings, fire department meetings, town meetings, and historical society meetings.
