Planning BoardThe Planning Board is composed of five permanent and two alternate members. Planning Board Jeff Thurlow (Chairman) Gary Poisson (Vice Chairman) Tom Vanchieri Henry Hodges Susan Dunham-Shane Helen Dougherty (Alternate) John Allen (Alternate) Planning Board Repot 2007-08 To the citizens of Eddington the Planning Board presents its 2007 Report. 2007 has not been as busy as the previous year. Home occupantions, shore land use and site plan review have had apllications before the Board. A subdivision application is in the process on Ring Ridge off the Clewleyville Road. An Implementation Grant has been awarded to the Town of Eddington for the State of Maine. This will enable a consultant to work with the Town to rewrite the ordinances to reflect the comprehensive plan. The Shoreland Zone Ordinance has been updated to meet the State Guidelines and will be voted on at town meeting. The Planning Board meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. If there are any residents who would like to give input to any ordinances you are encouraged to attend the meetings or contact the town office.
