Fiscal year commences, remember to check car registration each month for expiration.

Dog Licenses are due.

January 31st

$5.00 Late fee on unpaid dog licenses after this date.

Election of Town Officials & Town Meeting

April 1st

Farm Tractors not excised before this date will be taxed as personal property.

Declaration of property owned should be filed with the Assessor on this date.

Veteran’s and Veteran’s Widows exemption forms must be filed.
(This is a one-time application)

Homestead exemption applications must be filed by this date.
(This is a one-time application)

Dogs not licensed before this date could be subject to a constable’s fee.

Tax Lien process begins

September 15th

Interest starts on all unpaid taxes.

December 31st

Deadline for filing Householders Tax and Rent Refund application with the State of Maine .

Town Books close, all unpaid taxes will be listed in the Town Report.
