Per an e-mail forwarded by Rep. Ken Fletcher, 6/24/09, the Neck Road project timeline is as follows:   Design for the project:   Complete.   Schedule advertise date:   10/07/09.  Latest date to advertise:  01/28/10.   Construction begin date set:  5/01/10.  Construction complete date:   9/30/10.  "As with all projects, this is contingent on available funding at the time of advertisement."

Below are DIRECTIONS TO roads in BENTON.    Directions are FROM the Benton Town Office, 1279 Clinton Avenue, Benton:

ALBION RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, bear right onto FALLS ROAD.   ALBION RD is an immediate left ( ALBION RD bears right approximately 1.25 miles from FALLS RD).

ALLISON LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   Up hill, turn right onto FALLS RD and take immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, bear right (still is ALBION RD ).   After approx. 0.6 more miles, there’s a sharp left turn.   After the turn, take the first right onto BLAISDELL LN.   ALLISON LN is at the end of BLAISDELL LN.

ANDREA AVE   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD to the lights.   Take a left onto BENTON AVE at the lights.   After approx. 0.75 miles, ANDREA AVE is on the right.  

ASHER FARMS MHP   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   At the lights, take a left onto BENTON AVE.    After approx. 0.25 miles, ASHER FARMS MHP is on the right (there’s a black and white sign at the entrance).  

AUDET LN   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   Take a left approx. 0.5 miles.

AVERILL MHP   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, bear right onto FALLS RD.   After approx. 0.3 miles, AVERILL MHP is on the left.    

BANGOR RD

BELLSQUEEZE RD   Turn right from the Town Office parking lot.   After approx. 1.1 miles, BELLSQUEEZE RD is on the left.

BENTON AVE   Turn left onto LIBBY ST and continue left onto NECK RD.   Continue to lights.   BENTON AVENUE is on the left at the lights.

BENTON PLAZA    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto the NECK RD.   BENTON PLAZA is 1 mile down the NECK RD just after SCHOOL DR on the right.  

BLAISDELL LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD and take an immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, bear right (still is ALBION RD ).   After approx. 0.6 more miles, there’s a sharp left turn.   After the turn, BLAISDELL LN is the first right.  

BOG RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD and an immediate left onto ALBION RD.    At approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.    After approx. 2.5 miles on EAST BENTON RD , BOG RD is on the left.

BOOKER AVE    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   At the lights, turn left onto BENTON AVE.   After approx. 0.75 miles, BOOKER AVE is on the right.  

BRIDGE ST    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD to lights.   Go straight through the lights and you are on BRIDGE ST .

BRIMSTONE HILL RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD.    After approx. 0.5 miles, BRIMSTONE HILL   RD is on the right.

BROWN FARM RD   Turn right from Town Office lot.   After approx. 2.3 miles, BROWN FARM RD is on the left.

CEDAR LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   After approx. 2 miles, CEDAR LN is on the right.

CHARLES TERRACE   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD.   After approx. 0.3 miles, AVERILL MHP is on the left.

CHICKADEE LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.    After approx. 0.25 miles, CHICKADEE LN is on the right.

CLIFFORD LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.    After approx. 2.9 miles, CLIFFORD LN is on the left.

CLINTON AVE

COPELIN LN   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   At the stop sign at the end of SCHOOL DR , turn right onto RIVER RD.   After approx. 0.5 miles, COPELIN LN is on the right.  

CRUMMET ST    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.    Go to the lights and continue straight down the hill ( BRIDGE ST ).   At the bottom of the hill before the bridges, CRUMMET ST is on the left.

DANIELLE AVE    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   Take a left onto BENTON AVE at the lights.   After approx. 0.8 miles, DANIELLE AVE is on the right.  

DENICO LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD.   Take an immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, bear right (still is ALBION RD ).   After approx. 0.6 miles, there’s a sharp left turn.   DENICO LN is on the right.  

DICKEY RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.    After approx. 4.5 miles, DICKEY RD is on the left (just past MONK RD and ED LN ).

DIXON DR   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   After approx. 2 miles, turn right onto CEDAR LN .   DIXON DR is on the left.  

DJ LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD.    After approx. 0.25 miles, AVERILL MHP is on the left.   Take the first entrance into AVERILL MHP and DJ LN is straight ahead.

DUBOIS LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto the UNITY RD.   After approx. 4.3 miles, DUBOIS LN is on the left (beyond the MONK RD ).

DYER LN    Take right out of Town Office lot.   Continue on BANGOR RD.   After approx. 1.8 miles, DYER LN is on the left (first left after BELLSQUEEZE RD ).

EAMES RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD.    After approx. 0.8 miles, EAMES RD is on the left.

EAST ST    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.    At the lights, take a left onto BENTON AVE.   EAST ST is on the immediate right.

EAST BENTON RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD and take an immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, ALBION RD bears right and EAST BENTON RD goes straight.

EAST TRASK RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.    After approx. 3 miles, EAST TRASK RD is on the left.

ED LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.    After approx. 4.25 miles, ED LN is on the right (first right after MONK RD ).

EDNA LEE LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   After approx. 2.7 miles, turn left onto WILLIS RD.   EDNA LEE LN is at the end of WILLIS RD on the right.

FALLS RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.    FALLS RD is the right at the top of the hill.

FOSS HILL RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD and an immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, bear right to stay on ALBION RD.   After approx. 0.6 more miles, there’s a sharp left turn.   After the turn, go another 1.25 miles on ALBION RD and FOSS HILL RD is on the right.

FOSTER RD   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   At the lights, turn right onto RIVER RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, FOSTER RD is on left (just after I-95 overpass).  

FOWLER ST   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   After approx. 0.25 miles, take a right onto LAWRENCE DR .    FOWLER ST is on the left.  

GOGAN RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a left onto UNITY RD.   After approx. 1.7 miles, GOGAN RD is on the left.  

GOWER RD    Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   GOWER RD is the first left (approx. 0.1 miles).

HANSCOM RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD and immediate left onto ALBION RD.    At approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.   After approx. 2.4 miles on EAST BENTON RD , HANSCOM RD is on the left.

KELLY ST    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   At the stop sign at the end of SCHOOL DR , turn left onto RIVER RD.   KELLEY ST is the first right.

KENNEBEC DR   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   Take a left onto BENTON AVE at the light.   After approx. 0.25 miles, KENNEBEC DR is on the left.

KENT ’S WAY   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   After approx. 1.5 miles, KENT’S WAY is on the right.

KNOX LN    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   At the stop sign at the end of SCHOOL DR , continue straight onto SIDING ST .    Knox Ln is the second left on Siding Street .

LAWRENCE DR   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   After approx. 0.25 miles, LAWRENCE DR is on the right.

LIBBY ST   Turn left across from Town Office.  

LINNELL LN    Take a right out of the Town Office parking lot.   Travel past the bridge (on your right).   Turn left at WEST ST .   LINNELL LN is on your right.

LORD RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD.   After approx. 0.6 miles, take a left onto PINES RD.   After approx. 0.9 miles, LORD RD is on the right.  

LOVEJOY LN   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   Take a left onto BENTON AVE at the lights.   LOVEJOY LN is the second left (after KENNEBEC DR ).

MCCARTHY RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD for approx. 1.7 miles.   Turn left onto GOGAN RD.   After approx. 1.8 miles,   MCCARTHY LN is on the right (first right after TRASK RD ).

MILLER ST   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.    After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   At the stop sign at end of SCHOOL DR , turn right.   MILLER ST is the first left.

MONK RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.    After approx. 4 miles, MONK RD is on the left.

NECK RD   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left at the stop sign and that’s NECK RD.    

NICOLE LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a   right onto FALLS RD and immediate left onto ALBION RD.    At approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.   After approx. 2.4 miles, NICOLE LN is on the left.

OAK HILL LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD and take an immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 0.4 miles, OAK HILL LN is on the left.

PATTERSON RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD and immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, bear right (still is ALBION RD ).   After a sharp left on ALBION RD , BLAISDELL LN is on the right.  

PINES RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn right onto FALLS RD.   After approx. 0.6 miles, PINES RD is on the left (after AVERILL MHP).

PLEASANT DR   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   At the lights, continue straight onto BRIDGE ST .   At the bottom of the hill, PLEASANT DR is on the right.  

POOR BOB LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   POOR BOB LN is on the right.

RED MAPLE LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a   right onto FALLS RD and immediate left onto ALBION RD.    At approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.   After approx. 2 miles, RED MAPLE LN is on the right.

RICHARDS RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD and an immediate left onto ALBION RD.    At approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, RICHARDS RD is on the right.  

RILEY RD    Take right out of Town Office lot.   Continue on BANGOR RD.   After approx. 1.7 miles, RILEY RD is on the right (first right after BELLSQUEEZE RD ).

RIVER RD   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   At the lights, RIVER RD is on the right.

RIVERBEND   DR   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a left onto UNITY RD.   After approximately 1 mile, RIVERBEND DR is on the left.

RIVERVIEW DR    Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   After approx. 1.7 miles, turn left onto GOGAN RD.   After approx. 0.5 miles, RIVERVIEW DR is on the left.   

ROBIN ST   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   At the stop sign at the end of SCHOOL DR , continue straight onto SIDING ST and   ROBIN ST is the first left.

SCHOOL DR    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto the NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .  

SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD    Turn right from Town Office parking lot.   SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD is the first right (onto the bridge).  

SHORES RD    Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn RIGHT onto FALLS RD.   After approx. 0.6 miles, turn left onto PINES RD.   After one mile, STAGECOACH LN is straight ahead.   Continue 0.5 mile on STAGECOACH LN and SHORES RD is on the right.

SIDING ST    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   After 1 mile, bear right onto SCHOOL DR .   At the stop sign at the end of SCHOOL DR , continue straight onto SIDING ST .

SPENCER RD    Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD and immediate left onto ALBION RD.    At approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.    After approx. 0.3 miles, SPENCER RD is on the right.

SPIRIT WAY   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a   right onto FALLS RD and immediate left onto ALBION RD.    At approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.   After approx. 2.3 miles, SPIRIT WAY is on the left.

STAGECOACH LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn RIGHT onto FALLS RD.   After approx. 0.6 miles, turn left onto PINES RD.   After one mile, STAGECOACH LN is straight ahead ( LORD RD is on the right).

STROHMAN LN   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, take a right onto FALLS RD and immediate left onto ALBION RD.   After approx. 1.25 miles, continue straight onto EAST BENTON RD.   After approx. 0.75 miles, STROHMAN LN is on the right.

TRASK RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.   After approx. 1.7 miles, turn left onto GOGAN RD.   After approx. 1.6 miles, TRASK RD is on the right.   

UNITY RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, UNITY RD is on the left.

WALDO ST    Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left onto NECK RD.   At the light, take a left onto BENTON AVE.    After approx. 0.25 miles, take a left onto KENNEBEC DR .   WALDO ST is at the end of KENNEBEC DR on the left.

WEST ST   Take a right out of the Town Office parking lot.   Travel straight (past the bridge on your right).   WEST ST is on your left.

WILLIS RD   Turn right onto SEBASTICOOK RIVER BRIDGE RD.   At the top of the hill, turn left onto UNITY RD.    After approx. 2.75 miles, WILLIS RD is on the left.

WYMAN RD   Turn left onto LIBBY ST .   Continue left on to the NECK RD.   At the lights, turn right onto RIVER RD.   After approx. 2.25 miles, WYMAN RD is on the right.
