ATV and snowmobile registration renewals can be done on-line through the State at:    https://www10.informe.org/ifw/atv-snow/

The State website also has the current registration fees which are:

    ATV Registration Fees*:  $34 (Resident);    $69 (Non Resident)

   Snowmobile Registration Fees*:  $41 (Resident);   $89 (Non Resident)

         *Fees include the $1.00 agent fee for renewals. 

Resident New ATV Registration:
$33.00 State Registration Fee
$2.00 Town Agent Fee
5% of the purchase price needs to be paid for sales tax.

For new registrations, please provide a bill-of-sale for a sale from a private owner; or the (green) State sales tax form if you bought from a Maine dealer.   With regard to private sales, the bill of sale should include the VIN.   It is also helpful to provide the State sticker number, if one is on the sled or ATV.
