Benton Grange Hall

The Assessors' Agent is Ryan Stinneford.  Assessed billing values are attached.  Also attached (file: RE INFO) is information on a spreadsheet with regard to each real estate account's owner of record, book and page, acreage, zoning, utilities, building style, # of stories of the home, year built, square footage of the footprint, basement info, exterior walls, and heating type.

Shoreland/Local Zoning.  Benton has Shoreland Zoning as well as local zoning for properties that are in rural, industrial and residential zones.  For a map of the zones in Benton, see the attached pdf file titled "Benton Zoning."  Also attached is a map showing the Shoreland Zoning Districts in Benton.  For general information about Shoreland Zoning, visit:  http://www.maine.gov/dep/blwq/docstand/szpage.htm .  "Areas within 250 feet of the Kennebec River, Sebasticook River, Fifteen Mile Stream and non-forested wetlands greater than 10 acres are regulated.  An area within 75 feet of Fowler Brook and certain other streams are also regulated.  The regulations impose water body setbacks and contain rules to protect water quality and control erosion." - Town of Benton COMPREHENSIVE PLAN March 2008
