The Frenchboro Selectboard would like to announce the hiring of Jessica Bellah, Island Institute Fellow.
Jessica grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, attended the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and graduated with a B.A. in Historic Preservation and Geography. While at UMW, Jessica was a member of the Crew Team, and developed a passion for ceramics, hiking, and exploring new places. She has successfully made the move to the island, and will be living in the Ben Hopkins house.
Jessica will be serving the Town as the Administrative Assistant. She will be working out of the Town Office, and will be posting regular office hours in the next week.
If you see Jessica in the office, stop and introduce yourself! She is looking forward to meeting everyone, and eager to get started on all the projects the Selectboard has for her!
