Town of Bridgewater

Aroostook CountyBridgewater is a town in Aroostook County, incorporated on March 2, 1858 from portions of the Bridgewater Academy Grant R1 Plantation and the Portland Academy Grant Plantation.

The town is located on U.S. Route 1, just south of Mars Hill. Bounded on the east by Canada, it hosts a customs station at the junction of Blaine Road and Bridgewater Corner Road.
