Wales Town Office

The Wales Town Office is located at 302 Center Road on the site of the original town office.  Buildings also included on the site are the Fire Station and the salt and sand shed.  The town office hosts the meetings of the Board of Selectman, the Planning Board, and the Appeals Board.  Scheduled meeting times and events are listed under the departments section of this site for active boards. 

Town office hours for different business (i.e., building permits, car registrations, etc.) are listed below:

Tax Collector, Deputy Clerk, DMV & IFW Agent:              Patty Auge 

• Tuesday:  5 - 8 pm
• Wednesday:  5-8 pm
• Thursday:  5-8 pm
• Last Saturday of the Month:  9 - Noon

Code Enforcement Officer:  Ken Pratt  576-1413 (messages can also be left at 375-8881) -- Building Permits, Initial Subdivision Plans, Plumbing Permits, etc.

• Every other Tuesday 9 a.m. to noon -- dates posted at town office (Please call ahead for an appointment as the CEO may be on a site inspection during this time period)
• All building construction requires approval from the Code Enforcement Officer before you start.

Closed All Holidays.  Tune in to local news or radio stations for storm closings.
