The library is a city department with a City Council that serves as a governing board and appoints an advisory Board of Trustees that oversees policy, manages the library's endowment funds, and ensures that the library services reflect the needs of the community. A large meeting room and art gallery is available for artists to show their works and we have monthly opening receptions and space for non-profits to meet. With a total of 10 staff, regular programs for children and adults take place in the library and within the community for outreach efforts. Examples of programming include storytimes, American Sign Language classes for children and adults, a knitting group, a writer's group, a book club and a teen advisory group. For more information, please contact the library or sign up for our monthly printed newsletter. Services Offered
