Diane R. Johanson
Legislative Aide
Although I was born and raised in Oregon, my roots run deep in Maine. I am a direct descendant of Col. Isaac G. Reed who served in the Maine House of Representatives, was a member of Maine's Constitutional Convention and designed the Maine State Seal.
A graduate of Morse High School in Bath, I continued my education at the University of Maine. I received a B.S. in Business Administration in December of 1993 and started working for the House Republican Office two days after graduation. I have worked in both the House Republican and Senate Republican Offices during my 17 years at the State House.
My husband and I have been married for 12 years, and we reside in Turner. I am the proud mother of Reed and Cole. When I have free time on my hands, you can find me playing golf, downhill skiing, snowshoeing and swimming. I completed my first triathlon this past summer and plan on competing in the Tri for a Cure again in July.
