Senator Carol Weston
Senator Carol Weston is currently serving her fourth term representing Waldo County (District 23) in the Maine State Senate. Prior to her election to the Senate, she served two terms in the Maine House of Representatives.
Throughout her career in the Legislature, Senator Weston accumulated a wide range of policy experience, having served on the Joint Standing Committees on: Education and Cultural Affairs, Health and Human Services, and Utilities and Energy. Additionally, the Senator is a long-time member of the Legislative Youth Advisory Council.
Prior to her election to office, the Senator enriched students in her role as a long-term substitute teacher.
In her community, she serves on the boards of Waldo County General Hospital, the Center for Educational Services and the Waldo County Pre-School & Family
Services Committee. She is also a former Cub Scout and Girl Scout Leader.
She and her husband, Peter, currently reside in Montville. They have two grown children, Eliot and Elizabeth.
