    The Maine Senate is the upper body of the Maine Legislature, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Maine. The Senate currently consists of 35 members representing an equal number of districts across the state. The Maine Constitution allows for "an odd number of Senators, not less than 31 nor more than 35 Because it is a part-time position, members of the Maine Senate usually have outside employment as well.

  • Hearings
    Advance Notice of Public Hearings (ANPH) is a combination of public hearing and work session information provided to the Senate by the Committees along with additional sponsor info. Also, includes Governor appointment hearing info and hearing info on papers other than LDs. The ANPH is produced once a week during session and Supplements are added during the week to reflect changes, cancellations, and additions.

    Roll Calls of the 125th Legislature

  • Calendar
    Senate Calendars are agendas of the business coming before the Senate that day. Supplements are created throughout the day if more business comes to the Senate.
