As of March 19, 2008, we are waiving the one-weekend newspaper advertising requirement for all bills referred to committee on or after today.  Bills referred to committee on or after today must be heard and voted prior to the final committee deadline of March 28, 2008, except for confirmation hearings and for work on the errors bill by the Judiciary Committee.  To provide as much public notice as possible, committee clerks must enter the hearing and work session dates into the computer system so that those dates are advertised on the internet.
