JOINT STANDING COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCIAL AFFAIRS

      Public Hearing Schedule:  March 26-28, 2007, Room 228, State House

 

            The Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs will hold public hearings in Room 228 of the State House regarding requests for General Obligation Bonds.  Because of the number of bonds bills, the hearings will be held on the general topics identified below.  In some instances, including the Governor’s proposed bond bills, no legislative document number has been assigned.  The list of printed bond bills and draft bills authorized to be released will be available on-line at http://www.maine.gov/legis/ofpr/

 

            Also because of the number of bills, introduction of bills by sponsors and testimony from the public will be limited to 3 minutes.
