      Public Hearing Schedule for the Governor’s Change Package to the Proposed Supplemental Budget State Fiscal Years 2008/2009 (LD 2173)

 

On Wednesday March 12, 2008, The Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs and the Joint Standing Committee on Health and Human Services will be holding public hearings in Room 228 of the State House on the Change Package  to the Governor’s supplemental budget bill for the 2008-2009 biennium LD 2173 "An Act To Make Supplemental Appropriations and Allocations for the Expenditures of State Government and To Change Certain Provisions of the Law Necessary to the Proper Operations of State Government for the Fiscal Years Ending June 30, 2008 and June 30, 2009”.  The committee will hear testimony only on the additions, deletions or changes to the original bill as noted in the change package. 

 

On the morning of March 12th, The Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs will hear testimony related to the Baxter School for the Deaf or any other initiatives that were before the committee on Tuesday March 11th from individuals who will require an ASL interpreter.

Due to the very tight timetable, the Joint Standing Committee on Appropriations and Financial Affairs requests that testimony be limited to three minutes.
